orn in 1968, Liang Kegang studied architecture in university in Qingdao. Although Liang Kegang spent much time working in the fields of architecture and design, he always kept one foot in the art world with a keen interest for original, daring initiatives.
Already in the beginning of the 80’s, as he still was a student, Liang Kegang was a member of avant garde art groups and started to develop a keen interest for conceptual art and installations.
In 2005 Liang Kegang founded Songzhuang TS1 art museum which has become today one of the largest art spaces of Beijing.
Liang Kegang desecrated tradition and helped give today's art a playful face. His works play with meanings and unpredictable associations that create a new regard for art and its relationship with contemporary society.
He created an art work using 100 million RMB which stays among 2007’s 10 biggest art works. Liang Kegang is a particularly active artist and his performance work “House slaves” has been remarked by art medias.

克刚出生于1968年，大学在青岛学习建筑设计，尽管他很多时间用于建筑设计和地产策划领域的工作，但仍然保持着对艺术的狂热并一直参与各项艺术活动.

早在1980年代，在大学期间梁克刚就已经是先锋艺术社团的骨干成员，并在那时开始尝试观念与装置艺术。

2005年梁克刚创办了宋庄壹号艺术公社的壹美术馆，目前已经成为北京重要的艺术机构之一。梁克刚率先大胆地以通俗的方式解构中国传统，笑看当今艺术，他的作品充满意趣和不可预知的联系创造出艺术与社会之间的一种新关系。梁克刚用一个亿人民币现金创造地作品被评为2007年十大艺术事件，他还是一个具有很强行动力的艺术家，他2007年的行为艺术作品《房奴》受众多艺术媒体的好评。
